At a young age I showed an interest in interior architecture & design by regularly changing in my childhood bedroom. This was supported by taking part in different arts & crafts programmes and drawing classes. 

My choice of university was strongly influence by my creativity and love of design, so in 2007 I took the plunge and moved from Hungary to United Kingdom starting my studies in Interior Architecture at the University of Brighton, which I subsequently graduated with Honours in 2010.  Some of my university work can be found here. 

Fresh out of university at a time when the labour market was in an economic crisis, finding my dream job of an Interior Designer proved to be troublesome so I decided estate agency could be my steppingstone into this industry. I felt it was very important for me to learn about properties in the United Kingdom and the housing market and gain knowledge around trends, styles, layouts, customer preference and people lifestyle choices which can influence design. 

With the persuasion and support of my parents, Ildiko Herbaly and Laszlo Herbaly, I have founded my own company Herby Studio Ltd. with the aim of my interior architecture & design to create spaces where generations can grow and enjoy a timeless design in a perfect space. I strongly believe all areas we inhabit, be it work, home, shared or private, should always reflect the occupiers personality, be welcoming and suited to their needs.  

My goal is to work with my clients to find creative solutions to fit out spaces within their budget while achieving the design specifications. 

Continued professional development is as important to me as my original degree and have since gained a Project Management qualification. I constantly research design styles, trending colors and am fascinated by different cultures and their design origins. All this helps me achieve the desired harmony of the spaces that I design while meeting the clients expectations.
